The present research entitled "Efficiency of Lactobacillus spp., Rhodopseudomonas spp. and Saccharomyces spp.in the wastewater treatment in the PETAR San Jerónimo, Cusco 2022" had as its object of study to evaluate the efficiency of Lactobacillus spp., Rhodopseudomonas spp. and Saccharomyces spp. in the treatment of wastewater in the WWTP San Jerónimo, the methodological design was of quantitative, experimental, descriptive – explanatory level, having as experimental unitthe samples of wastewater and the dose of effective microorganisms, the sample was 20 liters of wastewater for each experimental unit, collected after the Primary Treatment of the meeting chamber 3, before passing through the trickling filters, 12 experimental units were considered, with the following treatments: T1: 0 days (without aEM), T2: 14 days, T3: 28 days and T4: 42 days (treatments with aME), manual logs were used for the recording of field data. The study resulted that, for the physical parameters, high reduction percentages were found (about 85%) for turbidity, with respect to chemical parameters high reduction percentages were found for BOD, COD and nitrates (about 70%), where the doses of greater reduction were those of 20 ml and 30 ml at 42 days of treatment with effective microorganisms (EMa); in terms of microbiological parameters, high percentages of reduction (about 90%) were found. Conclusion: It was determined that the use of Lactobacillus spp., Rhodopseudomonas spp. and Saccharomyces spp. is efficient in the treatment of wastewater in the WWTP San Jerónimo, Cusco 2022, as improvements were found in turbidity, chemical oxygen demand, biochemical oxygen demand, nitrates, thermotolerant coliforms and Escherichia coli. The study concludes that the microorganisms Lactobacillus spp., Rhodopseudomonas spp. and Saccharomyces spp. havea high efficiency in wastewater treatment in the San Jerónimo, Cusco 2022 WWTP, since improvements were found in the biochemical and chemical demand of oxygen, pH and presence of thermotolerant coliforms, being the best dose 20 ml and 30 ml after 42 days of treatment.
