The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between autonomous learning and quantitative reasoning in the subject of mathematics in the students of the Pre-University Center for the Consolidation of the Entrant Profile of the Andean University of Cusco, 2019. The subjects who were part of The population of this research was 450 students from the Pre-University Center for the Consolidation of the Profile of the Entrant of the Andean University of Cusco, the representative sample was 100 students between men and women. Two questionnaires were applied for each work variable “Autonomous learning“, the result showing a regular trend (79%); and “quantitative reasoning” with the results of trend to the minimum level of achievement scale (38%) and it is found in conclusion there is a direct and significant relationship between autonomous learning and quantitative reasoning, with the values of the Chi-square test of Pearson's test of (p = 0.05) and Kendall's Tau b statistical test of (0.403).
