The present research work, “Quality of life in patients with hemodialysis treatment at Adolfo Guevara Velasco Hospital, ESSALUD Cusco - 2018“, whose objective was to determine the quality of life in those patients receiving hemodialysis treatment at Adolfo Hospital Guevara Velasco, ESSALUD of the city of Cusco. As for the research method, it responds to a type of descriptive, cross-sectional and prospective study. The population and study sample consisted of 70 patients who attended the hemodialysis service, a non-probabilistic sample was applied for convenience. Patients were considered in the study according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria; for data collection, the technique used was the interview using the SF12 questionnaire as an instrument, the processing and analysis of the data was done in an Excel spreadsheet and the SPSS statistical package. The results show that the quality of life of hemodialysis patients is regular in 70% and only 25.7% achieve a good quality of life. Regarding the dimensions, a regular quality of life was found in the physical dimension (54.29%), and the psychological dimension (48.57%), while the quality of life was good in the social dimension (57.14%) . Conclusion: The quality of life of patients receiving hemodialysis treatment is regular, with physical and psychological aspects being more affected and social aspects less intense
