The present investigation entitled “SELF-PERCEPTION OF THE ACHIEVEMENT OF GENERIC TUNING COMPETENCES IN NURSING STUDENTS FROM THE SIXTH SEMESTER, UNIVERSIDAD ANDINA DEL CUSCO - 2020.“, aimed to determine the self-perception of the achievement of generic competencies according to Tuning in nursing students from of the sixth semester of the Andean University of Cusco 2020. Type study: descriptive, cross-sectional; applied to a sample of 63 students from the sixth semester on in the professional nursing school at the Universidad Andina del Cusco. With respect to the general characteristics, the study is that 90.48% is female, 42.86% is between 18 and 20 years old, 31.75% of the students belongs to the seventh semester, 61.90% of the students only study. And 76.19% of the students have a single marital status. 70% of the students perceive that their general competencies are quite successful and 35% perceive that their general competences are very successful. 64% of the students perceive that their instrumental competences are quite successful and 36% perceive that his instrumental skills are highly accomplished. Regarding interpersonal competences, 58% of the students perceive that their competences are quite successful, 11% perceive that their interpersonal competences are very successful and 32% perceive that their interpersonal competences are not very successful. And 58% of the students perceive that their systemic competences are quite successful, 42% perceive that their systemic competences are very successful.
