The main objective of the research is to “Evaluate the implementation of the BIM methodology during the design phase of the Food Market project in the Kcauri Population Center, located in the Ccatcca District, Quispicanchis Province, Cusco, in 2021. ”, For which the specialties of structures, architecture, sanitary installations and electrical installations were analyzed, the modeling was carried out with the Revit 2021 software so that interference detection was subsequently carried out using the Navisworks software between the different specialties, also obtained budgets based on modeling and estimating a new execution schedule based on new measurements. This study is of an applicative nature, with a descriptive approach and a non-experimental design, oriented towards the quantitative. To support this research, a theoretical framework is developed where relevant concepts related to the BIM methodology are explored and analyzed, as well as background to both national and international level. This theoretical framework provides the necessary context to understand the implementation and potential benefits of BIM in the Kcauri Food Market project. The results show that the BIM methodology is more effective than the traditional methodology, in the detection of interferences, in obtaining budgets and in the duration of activities in the design stage, achieving a variation in the budget obtained from the use of tools.
