The present research was developed in the department of Cusco, the province of Cusco, district of San Jerónimo, had as an objective to determine the variation of the correction coefficients by slenderness of resistance to the axial compression, obtained by testing piles of masonry, elaborated with mortar type P2 and brick King Kong 18 holes of semi-industrial origin, with regard to the parameters established in the technical standard E.070 - Masonry. For this purpose tests were carried out on the structure and of the acceptance of the units of the masonry (King Kong) of the factories of the district of San Jerónimo, with the purpose of the limits of the scope and the technical parameters set by the E.070 - Masonry, such are: tests of dimensional variation, warp, resistance to axial compression, absorption, percentage of hollow area, as well as tests were alson variation of the dosage of fine sand and confidence with the objective to obtain the granulometry of thick sand established for mortar by the aforesaid standard. To achieve the objective of the research was developed stacks of masonry of different slender, with use of brick and mortar structural King Kong in dosage cement : sand - 1: 4, at 28 days of age were subjected to the test of axial compression. Finally, after the data analysis the Coeff of correction by slenderness of the resistance a axial compression, experimental results were compared with those of the technical standard E.070 - Masonry, finding a variation of the 0% to ± 10%.
