The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the empowerment and the organizational commitment of the collaborators of the travel agency Perú Travel Explorer of Cusco city, having as a general objective to know if there is a relationship between the empowerment and the organizational commitment of the employees of the tourism and travel agency Perú Travel Explorer, the current problem is focused on the limited organizational commitment of employees; the type of research is basic, correlational with quantitative and non-experimental design, its population was compounded by the total number of employees, who are in total 27 and the instrument used to measure was a survey. The results in the travel and tourism agency Perú Travel Explorer confirm the general hypothesis, which indicates that there is a statistically significant relationship between empowerment and organizational commitment with a correlation coefficient of p = 0.014 <0.05, with a Spearman relation coefficient of 47.2%, which indicates that more empowerment means more feeling of organizational commitment, in this case leadership and development have a positive level of association, however, when at the momento to measure the dimensions of power and motivation, it was found that there is no statistically relationship with the organizational commitment, which means that the collaborators consider both variables do not make any difference in order to have more organizational commitment because it presents low level of association.
