This investigation started “LIMITS OF FOOD SUPPORT IN THE OBLIGATION OF FAMILY ASSISTANCE OF ELDERLY ADULTS IN THE JUDICIAL DISTRICT OF CUSCO, 2022” was to determine the limits for the requirement of food support in subsidiary claims for adults. older people in the judicial district of Cusco, 2022, having as a methodological design, that of being an applied basic research, with a qualitative approach and a non-experimental design, considering as the main analysis of results, the opinion and criteria of lawyers specializing in the matter. family members to give their opinion on alimony for older adults. The main conclusion was: It was possible to specify that the limits for the demand for alimony in subsidiary claims for older adults in the judicial district of Cusco must be analyzed with a flexible and contextualized approach. It is crucial to consider the economic and social circumstances of the parties involved to establish amounts that adequately reflect the needs of the older adult without imposing disproportionate burdens on those who must comply with the support obligation. It is essential to strengthen and improve protection measures for older adults in the judicial district of Cusco. Subsidiary claims for alimony must be dealt with promptly and effectively, ensuring that the courts have the necessary resources and procedures to resolve these cases fairly and in accordance with the principles of solidarity and fundamental rights.
