This research work refers to the “Analysis and Evaluation of the stabilization of clay soils in the APV. Picol Orcompugio by adding 10% lime and volcanic pozzolana from the 15, 25 and 30% Raqchi quarry for the sub-slope of paved roads according to the soil, geology, geotechnical and pavement roads manual”. Whose objective is to determine how the physical, mechanical and chemical properties of clay soil vary by chemical stabilization by adding 10% lime and 15% volcanic pozzolana, 25% and 30% to improve the sub-slope of paved roads in the APV. Picol Orcompugio. For the present research work it has a quantitative approach, the level of research is correlational and having a research method, hypothetical deductive; He made an exploration of the area to study in which it was established to make 6 calicatas to be able to obtain the material with the characteristics of: containing larger particles of fines and with greater plasticity limit. By stabilizing the soil with combinations of 10% lime and 15% volcanic pozzolana, 25%, 30%; an increase in the percentage of CBR was verified; in this way obtaining a material with the percentage of CBR at 95% greater than 6%, only in the combinations of soil stabilized with 10% lime with 25% and 30% volcanic pozzolana; which is suitable for underground use according to the Manual of Roads, Geology, Geotechnics and Pavement Roads. With the combination of the 10% lime stabilizer and 15%, 25% and 30% pozzolana, the increase in the maximum dry density DMS of the clay soil could be verified, in the first stabilization with 15% volcanic pozzolana it was increased by 6.67%, with stabilization with 25% volcanic pozzolana increased by 8.48% and with 30% volcanic pozzolan stabilization increased 10.3% With the results obtained with the combination of 10% lime stabilizer and 15% pozzolan, 25% and 30% it is observed that the liquid limit, plastic limit and plasticity index decreases. It was possible to verify that the stabilizing material, when making chemical reaction with the soil causes our soil to become increasingly alkaline.
