The present study presents a bibliographic study of the scientific productions about general and oral alterations in pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia under treatment with chemotherapy indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, which are the two most used databases. By researchers regarding specific topics of interest. After a literature review, the main research objective was to identify general and oral alterations in pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia under treatment with chemotherapy. Ninety-one documents were analyzed, which met the bibliographic search criteria. It was found that in the journal Pediatric Blood & Cancer with five documents, produced the 5.49% of the documents, Drs Heils, Oosterom and Pieters developed four documents each, which is equivalent to 4.40% each. The most cited document was Metronomic chemotherapy: An attractive alternative to the maximum tolerated dose therapy that can activate anti-tumour immunity and minimize therapeutic resistance, obtaining a total of 121 citations as of September 27, 2021. The general manifestation with the highest occurrence was hepatotoxicity, developed in six documents 6.59%. However, the oral manifestation was oral mucositis, developed in 24 documents (26.37%). Regarding the linear regression of the productions made per year between the 2015-2020 period, an R of 0.7171 was found, with a mean production per year of 15.17 documents and a standard deviation of 4.355. In conclusion, the academic interest in general and oral alterations in pediatric patients with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia under treatment with chemotherapy can be appreciated.
