The present work was carried out in the Virgen de las Mercedes farm located in the department of Lima, Barranca province, in the Pampas de Vinto and San Alejo. The field was divided into 4 sectors and 3 trees were taken at random for each sector and variety (Hass and Zutano), The evaluations were carried out from May 2018 to April 2019, and with an evaluation interval of every 7 days, taking as sampling units per tree (at random): 6 portions of 10cm branch. In length, 3 portions of the trunk of 10 cm in length, 12 leaves and 6 fruits, also the evaluations were carried out in strata (upper third, middle third and lower third). The objective of the research work was to observe the population fluctuation of the queresa Pinnaspis aspidistrae signoret in the cultivation of avocado cv. Hass and Zutano. In the Hass cultivation plantations, the queresa populations had their maximum infestation in the months of May - June and a low presence between the months of December - March and nymphs, females and males had a greater preference for theunderside of leaves, likewise, the largest infestations that were observed were in leaves and moderately in branches, fruits and low presence in the trunk, likewise, they have a preference for the upper part of the trees with each of the evaluated organs followed by the middle third with medium infestations and low infestation in the lower third. In the case of Zutano, the populations of the queresa, the highest infestations were in the months of May - June, and with a low population in December, the populations of the queresa in the Zutano trees are higher compared to the Hass trees, and it was also observed that they have a preference for the underside of the leaves and the third where the highest infestation byt he queresa was registered was in the upper third followed by the middle third and finally the lower third that registered a low presence of its population
