This professional proficiency work (TSP) describes the experience developed as part of the team in charge of preparing business plans for the May 20 round committees of the provinces of Cajamarca and San Miguel in the Cajamarca region, as part of an initiative developed in conjunction with the Gold Fields La Cima S.A. mining company for its area of indirect influence and the company Bionegocios Peru Consultores SAC, to be presented to the AGROIDEAS Competitiveness Compensation Program. For this purpose, information was collected from each of the 12 peasant patrol committees, in the Cajamarca district the committees belonging to the Oxapampa, Pabellón Chico hamlets and in the San Miguel district the committees belonging to the El Cobro, El Empalme, El Milagro, Espina Amarilla, Pabellón Grande, Pampalarga, Quebrada Honda, Tantachual Alto, Tantachual Bajo and Uchuquinua hamlets, through field surveys. As a result, it was found that the main improvement factors where the committees could request financing that directly affects the production and profitability of operations was the improvement of pastures. In the diagnosis it was evident that the main problem faced by producers is low productivity and consequently low milk production, affecting the performance of the business, but given the characteristics of the program (financing for 5 years) the focus of the work was not focused in the increase in individual production but in the improvement of the bearability of animal units (AU) for which the proposal contemplates the improvement of production levels through the improvement of pastures that allow sustaining a greater number of cows per hectare . This point is important because it highlights the selection of proposals based on the analysis period available for the business plans (5 years).
