In this research, the issue of the application of different doses of gibberellic acid in the cultivation of artichokes was addressed in order to know if these influence a faster development of the plant, because the consumption of this vegetable has been increasing in recent years and knowing a recommended application, it would lead us to meet the needs of the market in the short term. The main objective of the research is to determine and analyze the yields of three different concentrations (20 ppm, 30 ppm and 40 ppm) and a control without application (00 ppm) of Gibberellic Acid in two different cultivars of Artichoke (cv. Madrigal and cv. Green Triumph). Work was carried out in the Vegetable Program of the National Agrarian University La Molina, known as "El Huerto", belonging to the Faculty of Agronomy of the aforementioned university, during the months of February 2022 to March 2023, at the field level and under localized drip irrigation conditions, using a methodology with a quantitative approach. The experimental design used was a DBCA with a 2x4 factorial arrangement, in which artichoke cultivars were placed randomly, and the concentrations of gibberellic acid at the subplot level. According to the analysis carried out, it is concluded that with respect to the yield of both cultivars, Green triumph obtained a higher yield compared to the Madrigal cultivar, being 89.72% higher. According to the dosage, the dose of 30 and 40 ppm obtained better results, both in morphological variables such as plant height, stem length and leaf area, as well as in the case of yields. For the agroeconomic analysis, the Green Triumph cultivar obtained a higher profitability, with its RI being 12% higher than the Madrigal cultivar.
