This paper includes the determination of the hydrodynamic properties of the Vizcachas aquifer by analyzing information from pumping and recovery tests, and modification of such information in accordance with the requirements of new proposed methodologies by Van Der Kamp and Chenaf. The hydrodynamic properties of the aquifer were determined with data collected in the field without any modifications; the used methods for the interpretation of this information were Theis for confined aquifers and Neuman for unconfined aquifers. Subsequently, the initial information has been modified according to the requirements of the superposition method proposed by Van Der Kamp and using recovery test's data for determining the storage coefficient. The transmissivity estimated by the Theis and Neuman methods for wells PV-1, PV-2, PV-3, PV-5 and piezometers TDV-1 and TDV-3 were 124 m2/d, 805 m2/d, 507 m2/d, 120 m2/d, 171 m2/d, 114 m2/d respectively, the storage coefficients and specific yield were 3.9x10-4, 6.1x10-2, 1.8x10-2, 5.02x10-2, 1.54x10-3 and 8x10-5, respectively. The transmissivity estimated by the method of superposition of Van Der Kamp, were 123 m2/d, 785 m2/d, 444 m2/d, 117 m2/d, 157 m2/d y 96.9 m2/d for wells and piezometers mentioned above, the storage coefficient and specific yield were 4.9x10-4, 6.1x10-2, 1.8x10-2, 5.3x10-2, 1.67x10 -3 and 1x10- 4 respectively. The comparative analysis between the results show that the values of transmissivity decreases with Van Der Kamp method; however, the storage coefficient in confined aquifers and specific yield in unconfined aquifers increase slightly, so is considering as similar result. In the other hand, the storage coefficient of the aquifer confined was estimated by the Jacob method without data modification. Subsequently, the initial information was modified according to the requirements of the normalized residual drawdown method by Chenaf and Chenaf recovery method using test data recovery. Storage coefficients estimated by Jacob method were 3x10-4, 2x10-3 and 5x10- 3 for the PV-1 well and piezometers TDV-1 and TDV-3, respectively. By Chenaf normalized residual drawdown method, storage coefficients were 3x10-4, 2x10-3 and 5x10-3, and storage coefficients were 3x10-4, 2x10-3 and 5x10-3 for the well and piezometers respectively. Storage residual coefficients estimated by Chenaf recovery method were 3x10-4, 2x10-3 and 5x10-3, for the previously mentioned wells and piezometers. Comparing the results of the three methods, the estimated values of the storage coefficient are similar.
