Objective: to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the perception of risk of dengue infection in residents of the AA.HH. Up Peru, San Juan de Lurigancho, 2024. Material and method: the study has a quantitative approach, correlational type, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, in a sample of 108 residents. The data collection technique was the survey and the instruments were the Dengue Knowledge Questionnaire and the Dengue Infection Risk Perception Questionnaire. Results: in the demographic data, the majority of residents were women (63.9%), aged 26 to 35 years (29.6%), and had a secondary education level (51.8%). On the other hand, the findings showed that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the perception of risk of dengue infection (p<0.05); Likewise, the residents had a medium level of knowledge about dengue (67.6%) and a medium risk perception of dengue infection (76.8%). Conclusions: there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the perception of risk of dengue infection; in addition, there is a medium level of knowledge and medium risk perception about dengue infection.
