Objective: to analyze the relationship between burnout syndrome and quality of care provided by nurses in the Intensive Care Unit of a private clinic, Lima 2024. Materials and methods: this study will be carried out under a quantitative approach and a non-experimental, descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational design. It will be carried out in the city of Lima. The population will be composed of 30 nursing professionals working in the intensive care unit of a private clinic. The study sample will be a census. Sampling will be done through a purposive sampling method, characterized by its non-probabilistic nature. The collection of information necessary for this study will be carried out by means of a survey technique, using two previously elaborated and validated questionnaires. Results: the data obtained will be transcribed into a double-entry matrix in order to organize and code the information collected. Subsequently, frequency distribution tables and/or graphs will be made for each of the dimensions analyzed. Conclusions: the present study will provide a clear picture of the relationship between burnout syndrome and quality of care provided by the nursing staff in the Intensive Care Unit, which will contribute to the development of improvement strategies and training within the study unit.
