Objective: to determine the relationship between physical activity and quality of life in older adults at the Virgen del Pilar de Naranjal Health Center, 2024. Materials and Methods: a quantitative approach was chosen with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational design, where the variables were measured numerically and analyzed statistically. The population and sample consisted of 61 older adults from the Virgen del Pilar de Naranjal Health Center. The instruments used were a validated questionnaire to measure the physical activity variable and the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire to measure quality of life. Results: the study found that 14.75% of older adults perform low physical activity, 60.66% moderate physical activity, and 24.59% high physical activity. Regarding quality of life, 52.46% report a regular quality of life, 31.15% a good quality of life, and 16.39% a poor quality of life. In the dimension of domestic aerobic activities, 100% with low activity have a poor quality of life, 76.47% with moderate activity have a regular quality of life, and 45.71% with high activity have a good quality of life. In healthy physical activities, 90% with low activity have a poor quality of life, 79.41% with moderate activity have a regular quality of life, and 76.47% with high activity have a good quality of life. In the dimension of muscle flexibility activities, 66.67% with low activity and 61.90% with moderate activity have a regular quality of life, while 81.25% with high activity have a good quality of life. Conclusions: the results showed a statistically significant relationship between physical activity and quality of life (p=0.000), indicating that higher levels of physical activity are associated with better quality of life.
