Objective: to identify the relationship between social skills and resilience in adolescents from a private educational institution in Lima Norte, 2024. Materials and Methods: a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional and correlational design was employed. The population consisted of 64 third and fourth-year high school students from I.E.P. Honores San Martín. Data collection was carried out using the Social Skills Questionnaire (FES) divided into six dimensions and the Resilience Scale (SV-RES 60) with four dimensions. The survey technique was applied. Results: the majority of adolescents are at medium levels in both social skills (51.56%) and resilience (51.56%). Regarding social skills, 31.25% are at a high level and 17.19% at a low level. In terms of resilience, 26.56% of adolescents are at a high level and 21.88% at a low level. The dimensions of social skills showed a predominance of medium and high levels, with the medium category predominating in most dimensions. The dimensions of resilience showed a similar distribution, with medium levels predominating, followed by high and low levels. Using the chi-square test, a significant relationship between social skills and resilience was revealed, with a p- value of 0.009. Conclusions: it is concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between social skills and resilience in adolescents from I.E.P. Honores San Martín, 2024.
