Modern research is focusing on alternative materials to conventional ones, especially for industrial uses, with an emphasis on biomass waste, fibers, and plant resins. This research aims to minimize environmental issues and replace harmful products. The goal is to propose a plant that produces boards from pineapple leaves. The methodology involves projecting and analyzing supply, assessing micro and macro location factors, selecting appropriate machinery, and applying the Guerchet method. The plant will be located in San Martín de Pangoa, covering 5% of Chile's unsatisfied demand. The plant will process 10,002,925 tons in the first year and 13,531,345 tons by the fifth year, requiring 1,054.62 m² of space. The project is profitable, with a net present value (NPV) of $761,893,855.54, an internal rate of return (IRR) of 64%, and a minimum attractive rate of return (MARR) of 11%.
