Cooperativa Agraria Norandino LTDA-PIURA is a company dedicated to the processing and commercialization of Panela. The general objective of this thesis was to develop a proposal for improvement in the organic granulated panela packaging process to increase productivity, using a type of descriptive, purposeful research as a methodology. The development of the investigation is focused on the Panela Packing plant where there is evidence of an unmet demand of 24%, as well as defective products that represent 7.15% of production. The causes detected were imbalance in the production lines, losses in the filling of the brown sugar bags, poor distribution of the production lines, decreased labor performance and failures in the brown sugar coding machine. Proposals for improvements to the aforementioned causes were made, such as; carry out a balance of the line in the production of panela, a better transport system, improve the redistribution of the plant, implementation of belts for the transfer of 50 kg bags and a maintenance plan for the coding machine. The cost-benefit analysis reflected an investment of $148,252.10, with a cost-benefit cost of 1.54, that is, for every S/1.00 invested, S/0.54 is earned, with an NPV of S/ 389,182.71, an IRR of 65%.
