In public entities, different labor regimes coexist with differentiated economic benefits, conditioning the quality of work life with gaps that entities cannot correct. This situation limits the development and interests of employees, and the development of capabilities, safety at work and generation of improvements must be promoted. In this problem of a public institution of the Peruvian state, the level of quality of life at work associated with work factors was studied. The population was 223 employees, from two labor regimes. The survey technique and the CVT-GOHISALO instrument were applied. It is concluded that quality of life at work by levels is not associated with sociodemographic factors. In average score, at low level, the dimensions were located: job satisfaction, well-being achieved through work and free time management; while the other three dimensions were at the medium level; In global order the level was medium. Economic compensations are not differences between the levels of quality of life at work between labor regimes of Legislative Decrees: No. 728 and No. 1057, in which the low level was more frequent. A labor benefits plan is proposed, in order to improve institutional management, which enables the implementation of a good work environment, promoting adequate culture and organizational communication that consolidates institutional values.
