The general objective of this work was to design a drawing and painting workshop that would enhance the social dimension of self-esteem in primary school students. The research was based on a positivist paradigm, based on a non-experimental quantitative approach from a descriptive level. The sample consisted of thirty-six fifth grade students, selected through a non-probabilistic method on an intentional basis, to whom a test was applied to measure the level of self-esteem, which has high validity ratings (1.000) and reliability (0.812)., which is aimed at evaluating self-esteem in three dimensions: self-confidence, mastery in interaction and self-assessment of one's position. As a result of the diagnosis, 100% of the students are at a low and medium level of self-esteem. In summary, it is evident that students have problems with their self-esteem, which makes it difficult to adequately develop their social skills. Given this problem, the program titled “Brushstrokes of self-esteem: Drawing and painting workshop” was planned, which contains a series of activities that integrate the artistic part as a means of expressing emotions, fears and exploring their potential. With the aim that the participants integrate harmoniously and collaboratively.
