A significant part of the economic improvement in various regions and localities of Peru is due to the adequate connections that towns, cities, or hamlets have with the most relevant economic centers. Therefore, the main objective of this project is to carry out the Design of the Monteseco - El Ocho - Montechico - El Alumbral Road, Catache district, Santa Cruz province, Cajamarca Department. The study area only has a poorly maintained mule track, which becomes impassable during the rainy season, hindering and preventing the travel of residents and means of transportation that support local trade and the exchange of goods among nearby hamlets. This situation results in high transportation costs for traders, as well as a loss of both money and time to reach the nearest market. It also leads to isolation and a lack of communication due to the difficulty of access. The creation of the road will connect the aforementioned localities with other nearby districts such as Catache and Santa Cruz, increasing commercial and economic development, creating better job opportunities during the road construction, and improving livestock and agricultural development. This, in turn, will enhance the quality of life for all its residents. The mentioned thesis will be developed in four planned stages: STAGE I: Site visit and data collection, STAGE II: Conducting the necessary basic studies, STAGE III: Road design, STAGE IV: Designing the project components.
