Pervious concrete is a relevant innovation in construction due to its ability to filter liquids, making it ideal for pavements in low-traffic areas. This research focuses on evaluating the strength of pervious concrete by adding micro silica, a multifunctional admixture that improves the cohesion and strength of the material. Compression, diametral tensile, chloride penetration, modulus of elasticity and permeability tests were carried out on samples of conventional and modified pervious concrete. The results indicate that microsilica significantly increases the compressive and diametral strength, as well as the modulus of elasticity. However, chloride penetrability remains moderate, highlighting the importance of considering the durability of concrete under chloride exposure conditions.
