The objective of this Thesis is to analyze the influence that the measures adopted to stop COVID-19 have had on the financial indicators of the hotel sector in the town of Jaén. For this, analysis was used through comparison of financial statement tables provided by the companies under analysis in order to be able to study and represent the indicators of the financial statements, also analyze through the analysis of liquidity ratios, solvency and debt to be able to have a global knowledge of the behavior of hotels during the COVID-19 period. Likewise, sectional financial analysis was used to make a comparison against a company in the same location and against the same entity in previous periods in order to identify strengths and weaknesses in the entity under analysis. This research is extremely important since the uncertainty caused by COVID-19 in the financial markets is of utmost importance, due to the importance of information on the internal and external aspect with respect to liquidity, solvency and indebtedness indicators, which It helps us understand the ability to fulfill short- and longterm obligations. The financial analyzes of the 14 hotels in question were used to demonstrate the objectives. The methodology applied in the report is mixed, with a descriptive- correlative level and with a nonexperimental cross-sectional design, a product of the compilation and analysis. of data to discover the impact on liquidity, solvency and debt ratios. Finally, it is concluded that the crisis caused by COVID-19 does have an impact on the liquidity, solvency and indebtedness of the entities under analysis as a result of the decrease in income levels and performance of operating activities and the leverage obtained to cope with the current situation.
