The objective of the study was to determine the role of the thesis advisor from the perspective of the undergraduate graduate of the School of Nursing, Chiclayo 2024. Quantitative approach, descriptive scope, non-experimental-cross-sectional design, the population was 119 graduates constituting a census sample, who responded to a questionnaire validated by the judgment of 6 local experts, processing the information using the Microsoft Excel 19 database and the statistical program version 26; executing a descriptive analysis of the variable and its dimensions. The results were that the role of the thesis advisor is good from the perspective of 64.7% of graduates of the School of Nursing, similar results were obtained in the dimensions: 67.2% good competencies, 60.5% good personal conditions and 63% good functions of the thesis advisor; However, the experience that the advisor has in providing advice, the continuous support provided to the thesis students and the assistance in selecting the research topic are considered by graduates as weak points that require improvement. In conclusion, the role of the thesis advisor is perceived as good by most graduates, although areas for improvement were identified, such as the advisor's experience, the continuous support provided, and assistance in selecting the research topic.
