Noise pollution impacts both people's health and mood, and it can also affect their perception of a destination due to its effects. The main objective of this research is to establish how noise pollution, evident in various parts of the city, influences the emotional experience of tourists in the destination of Chiclayo. The research follows a quantitative approach, with an explanatory-descriptive level of a basic and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of tourists who visited the city of Chiclayo. Information was collected from a total of 385 individuals. The sampling method employed was simple random probabilistic sampling. Necessary data for the research were obtained through surveys using a questionnaire as the instrument. Among the main results of the study, it was found that tourists perceive a moderate level of noise pollution in Chiclayo. Furthermore, they experience positive emotions with moderate intensity during their stay at the tourist destination.
