The objective of this research was to propose an OSH plan in the company GRUPO EMPRESARIAL HEVASUD S.A.C., in order to reduce occupational risks during the maintenance of highly complex medical equipment in the Lambayeque Regional Hospital. Through documentary analysis, observation and survey, the baseline of the IPERC matrix for the identification and control of occupational risks was developed. As a result, 36% of accidents are due to poor handling of equipment, 41.67% to accidents caused by untrained labor, 30% to disorder in the work environment, and 36% to bad practices. As a consequence of not having an OSH Plan, the company faced an average annual economic deficit of S/ 30,775.92 between 2014 - 2022 due to penalties and compensation expenses for workers who suffered occupational accidents. An OSH plan was implemented that reduced the initial risks from significant and moderate to tolerable and trivial levels. For the implementation of the OSH Plan an investment of S/. 111,277.95 was estimated, 50% of which was assumed with own resources and the rest by external investment, obtaining an NPV of S/. 61,858.09 and an EIRR of 44.84%, resulting in a benefit/cost of 1.02, while the profitability index was 1.10, which indicates that the investment made is profitable in the long term with a return after 2.09 years.
