The hospital stay of a pediatric patient in Peru varies from 5 to 7 days, extending up to 15 days on average related to acute and chronic diseases. That is why during hospitalization, both the preschooler and his family experience various changes which can trigger a series of reactions that affect all areas of their lives. Therefore, the Critical Review was proposed: nursing interventions that favor the adaptation and coping of the hospitalized preschooler, whose objective was to identify the Nursing Interventions that favor the adaptation and coping of the hospitalized preschooler. The research used the Evidence-Based Nursing (EBE) methodology, considering the PS scheme to formulate the research question: What are the nursing interventions that favor the adaptation and coping of hospitalized preschoolers? and the search strategy was carried out through metasearch engines such as: BVS, SCielo, Google Academic, Redalyc where 10 research articles related to the topic raised were found, applying the usefulness and apparent validity guide of Gálvez Toro, selecting 01 article, which the Astete list was passed with a level of evidence III and recommendation grade B. The answer to the clinical question, the nursing interventions that favor the adaptation of the hospitalized preschooler are: promoting activities such as distraction play, crafts, clowtherapy, art therapy, stories and music therapy where health personnel and the family participate.
