The objective of this research was to: Determine the effectiveness of the educational sessions for the adequate technique of exclusive breastfeeding in primigrades treated at Morales Health Center, 2018. The type of research was quantitative, descriptive, transversal, pre experimental. The population and sample was constituted by 35 primitives attended in the Morales Health Center, the technique used was the survey and the instrument a questionnaire and checklist applied to primiparous women. The results obtained were: The pregnant women attended in Morales Health Center who received educational sessions in exclusive breastfeeding were characterized by: age between 16 to 20 years (42.86%), have complete high school (71.43%) , of single marital status (62.86%) and student occupation (68.57%). The level of knowledge and technique of exclusive breastfeeding in primigraves before the application of the educational sessions was: 37.14% obtained a level of deficient knowledge, followed by 34.29% a level of regular knowledge and 28.57% % good. Likewise, 82.86% had an inadequate technique and only 17.14% is adequate. The level of knowledge and technique of exclusive breastfeeding in primigraves after the application of the educational sessions was: 48.57% obtained a level of regular knowledge, followed by 31.43% a level of good knowledge and 20, 00% deficient. Likewise, 97.14% have an adequate practice, only 2.86% is adequate. It is concluded that the T - student value is -10.708 with a p - value = 0.000, being highly significant, affirming that the educational sessions for the adequate technique of exclusive breastfeeding in primigrams is effective
