Perú has a lot to do in terms of financial inclusión and one of the strategies that experience shows us is the promotion of community banking, as a mechanism for opening up to those who have the least. In the San Martin region there are financial entities such as the microfinance savings and credit cooperative PRISMA, aimed at improving the quality of life of families living in poverty. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between the microcredit of Communal Banking and the improvement of the income level of members of the Microfinance Cooperative PRISMA District of Juanjui, San Martin Region in 2017. The hypothesis was that there is a direct relationship between the microcredit of Banca Comunal and the improvement of the income level of PRISMA members. The research was applied, correlational level, non-experimental - transversal design. The method was hypothetical - deductive. The levels of Sig. (p-value) equal to 0.119 and 0.82 obtained, allowed concluding that: microcredit does not contribute to the increase of the working capital, and the income levels do not contribute to the growth of the members' entrepreneurship.
