Pinion growing Jatropha curcas L., the content of seeds is about 30-40% of oil, it is an ideal raw material for producing high quality biodiesel. However, Jatropha plants have a low number of female flowers, which results in a low yield of seed that can not meet the needs of the biofuels industry. Therefore, increasing the number of female flowers is central to increasing seed yield. This study was conducted in the San Martin region where the Juan Guerra INIA experimental station in which oriented the search for alternative technologies for energy crops actions do not affect the environment, including cultivation develop Pinion is located. In this context, the present research precisely seeks optimal agronomic responses by pruning and application of cytokinin to evaluate the effect of time (days after pruning) for floral induction of Jatropha curcas L using BA (6-benzyladenine) "in the development of female flowers. This study is based on the objective of evaluating the time of application for floral induction jatropha totorillayco echo type, using as inductor BA (6-benzyladenine). The application of this hormone was evaluated at different days after pruning to (15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40) DDP, and a single concentration for all treatments (160 ppm) was used. Block design was completely randomized with 7 treatments and 3 replicates per treatment for a total of 21 experimental units. The results clearly show that the application of BA significantly promotes flowering and development has feminizing effects in Jatropha. The T7 treatment (DDP 40, DDP 104) with a yield in the first crop of 270 kg.ha -1 and T6 (35 DDP 99 DDP) with a yield of 216 kg.ha -1 are best answered by that the plant already had adequate time for recovery and efficient use of hormone applied
