The present thesis was developed at the Professional School of Civil Engineering of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the National University of San Martin - Tarapoto, with the purpose of obtaining a degree as a Civil Engineer, as a contribution to society, to solve the problem not considered in the evacuation of the pluvial waters (pluvial sewerage) in the La Florida sector, La Banda de Shilcayo district, San Martin province, San Martin region. The contribution consists of elaborating a Proposal for a Pluvial Sewage System, whose purpose is to evacuate the waters of the pluvial precipitations and thus to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the La Florida sector, and at the same time to make available to the National University of San Martin a research that will serve as base for future projects. Basic studies were carried out to carry out this project (study of soil mechanics, topographical study, hydrological study), as well as calculation reports, in accordance with the new National Building Regulations (RNE). As a result of the study, plans were drawn up (topographical, flow direction, cross sections, works of art and drainage). In conclusion, the means and conditions have been established that will improve the quality of life of the people in the La Florida sector (less diseases due to the evacuation of rainwater).
