The District of Sauce is considered one of the busiest tourist destinations in the San Martin Region, the number of visitors has increased considerably in recent years, which is why the hotel offer has been expanded, making it a priority to promote services and projects that improve the decoration of the city. The present work whose title is: Hydraulic Design Of The Pluvial Drainage System Of The Locality Of Sauce, Povincia De San Martín, San MARTÍN REGION, seeks to give the integral solution to the serious problems of floods that occur in the town of Sauce due to extraordinary rainfall. For the development of this thesis the topographical information provided by the District Municipality of Sauce was taken into account, dividing the study area into two areas: Sauce with 63.71 ha and July 8 with 35.88 ha, making a total of 99.59 ha as indicated in the topographic maps. The total area to be drained from the topographic plans was determined, with a total of 102.95 ha with main and secondary collectors. For the hydrological study, rainfall information of 25 years was considered, calculating the design intensity corresponding to a return time of Tr = 25 years. Determining the design flow using the Rational method of each collector. With the information of the design flow, slope and roughness, the geometric sections of each collector were calculated, considering their flow based on the contour planes and the longitudinal profiles of the streets, which will be evacuated by main collectors towards the streams. existing, avoiding the evacuation of rainwater to Lake Sauce. This project will constitute an important contribution for the District Municipality of Sauce because the purpose is to promote the development of the peoples of our Region as graduates of the National University of San Martin - School of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
