It is based on the comparative analysis of the results of the measurements of the concentrations of atmospheric sedimentary particles (PAS) obtained by the passive method, which collects a specific pollutant, in this case dust, by means of precipitation; for the experimental work are located monitoring points in the city of Morales, the location of these points, have been previously evaluated according to the factors that influence the measurement: wind speed and direction, population density. The results of the monitoring of the concentration of PAS each point obtained by the method; are compared with the reference level set by the maximum permissible limits given by the World Health Organization (WHO), which is 0.5 mg / cm2 / month, of which the Air Quality Standards (AQS), take as reference. The comparative analysis allows the determination of the station with the highest concentration of atmospheric sedimentable particles. The results obtained from the 5 points under study show that, in two areas exceed WHO maximum limits, which is 0.5 mg / cm2 / month; which are: point 01: Sector Terminal Terrestrial: 0.63 mg / cm2 / month y point 05: Sector I.E. Francisco Izquierdo Ríos: 0.68 mg / cm2 / month. This increases the health of the most vulnerable population (children, pregnant women and the elderly).From these results it is concluded that, economic activities in conditioned areas and better control 'do not exceed' limits, in relation to activities that take place in inappropriate areas.Indicating that unpaved streets are the most important foci in contributing with particles to the environment, caused by the transportation and the activities that develop there.The obtained results contribute in that the authorities of the district take into account to improve this zone, that would benefit to the population and its adornment.
