"Knowledge and practices of biological risk prevention in COVID-19 pandemic in nursing, human medicine and obstetrics interns of Hospital II-2 Tarapoto; June-November 2022". The present study is a quantitative research with a descriptive correlational and cross-sectional design; the study was applied to a population of 53 people, the sample being the same number. For the collection of data regarding knowledge, the survey technique was used and the questionnaire was applied as an instrument; for practices, the observation technique was used and the observation guide was applied as an instrument, where the statements were presented with their respective measurement alternatives; these instruments were applied with prior informed consent. Results: There is a statistically significant relationship (p= 0.012) between level of knowledge and biohazard prevention practices in covid-19 times in nursing, obstetrics and medicine interns. Of the participants, 66.0% were female; 54.7% were under 24 years of age; 88.7% were from the National University of San Martín; 45.3% received the fourth dose of AntiCovid-19 vaccine. A good knowledge level was found: 62.2% about standard biohazard precautions; 64.1% about biohazard protection barriers; 90.6% about disposal of contaminated material in Covid-19 pandemic. From prevention practices, 90.6% have adequate standard precautionary practices for biological risks; 88.7% have adequate practices on protection barriers for biological risks; 92.5% have adequate practices in terms of disposal of contaminated material in the Covid-19 pandemic. Regarding the dimension with the strongest relationship between level of knowledge and practices of prevention of biological risks in times of Covid-19 pandemic, the level of knowledge about protection barriers, the practices of protection barriers are found, since the significance reached was 0.662 with Cramer's V, which indicates that the factors are associated relatively intensely. Conclusion: There is a statistically significant relationship (p= 0.012) between level of knowledge and biohazard prevention practices in times of covid-19 in nursing, obstetrics and medicine interns of Hospital II-2 Tarapoto.
