The following work has been developed in the Professional School of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the National University of San Martín - Tarapoto, with the purpose of qualification as Civil Engineer and to put into practice the lessons learned in the Classrooms of this Superior House. This work was carried out for the purpose of participating in the solution of the existing road problem in the rural sector of the San José de Sisa District, since the current situation of the local roads has problems of traffic, generating the transportation costs of the products from the countryside to the city are high, therefore the farmers' economy is affected and their quality of life is affected.So that has participated in the formulation of the project in mention to achieve an affirmed neighborhood road. In order to develop this work, it has been necessary to apply all the basic concepts required in the Transportation Area, in order to be able to work on a road.This implies giving a technical solution to the problem, carrying out all those necessary activities of which we can mention: preliminary visits, topographic survey, topographical calculation, geometric design, road, earthworks and their volumes, transversal and longitudinal drainages, design of pavement, formulation of your budget, programming of the Work and preparation of plans. This work has been developed applying in the field the existing theories and norms of topography, soil mechanics, traffic study, geometric design and design of pavement and other related, that have allowed to have "Improvement of the Neighborhood Road: Emp.Sm- 102 - Alto Pishuaya of length 5,101 km, in the District of San José de Sisa, Province of El Dorado - San Martín Region.
