The objective of this research was: to determine the correlation between ultrasound findings and surgical findings in cholecystectomized patients at Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, January to December 2019. Method: The study was basic, descriptive and correlational according to the type and level of the study. The population consisted of 258 cholecystectomized patients during 2019, the sample obtained was 57 medical records. The information was obtained directly from the clinical histories that were recorded on the data collection form. Statistical analysis and presentation of graphs and tables were performed using Excel 2019. The results obtained were: Female patients were more frequently affected by vesicular pathology (73.7%) than male patients. In the specific ultrasound findings, the most frequent was the presence of calculus in 100.0%. In the preoperative and postoperative diagnosis the most frequent was type I, 57.9% in ultrasound and 47% in the intraoperative, according to the Braghetto scale. There is a correlation between ultrasound and surgical findings with a positive result of 0.778. Conclusions: At Hospital II-2 Tarapoto, a very significant correlation is presented and it is also high positive as it presented a correlation of 0.778 between ultrasound findings and surgical findings in cholecystectomized patients. When the number of ultrasound findings increases, the number of surgical findings will also increase.
