"Sociodemographic factors related to transmissible venereal tumor (tvt) in dogs in the district of Cacatachi, year 2022". The problematic of the study is based on the presence of tvt in dogs in the locality due to various factors, which highlights the need for the competent authorities to adopt immediate and effective actions. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between sociodemographic factors and the prevalence of transmissible venereal tumor (tvt) in dogs in the district of Cacatachi, year 2022. The location of the study was the district of Cacatachi, the period was represented by the months of January-March 2022. Regarding the methodology, it was a basic research, with a correlational level, with a population and sample consisting of 100 dogs, and registration cards were used as instruments. Results: 72% of the dogs were less than 4 years old, 42% were of mixed breed, 59% were male, 64% had a balanced diet, 96% had a medium socioeconomic level, 87% of the owners had a higher education level, 60% were responsible and 60% of the dogs went outdoors. On the other hand, the prevalence of tvt is low due to the fact that only 27% presented symptoms related to this disease. In addition, the design of the prevention plan against the presence of transmissible venereal tumor in dogs in the district of Cacatachi, 2022, has been based on dog population control programs, early detection, diagnosis and follow-up, and education and awareness on dog care. Conclusion: The sociodemographic factors of dogs in the district of Cacatachi, year 2022, associated with age, feeding, socioeconomic level of the owner, degree of education of the owner, responsibility of the owner and outings, are related to the prevalence of transmissible venereal tumor (tvt) because the Chi-square test yielded a statistical value of asymptotic significance (bilateral) less than 0.05.
