The work was done in order to find a suitable level of phosphorus tod potassium fertilization lookíng for raising tbe yields on peanut (Arachis hypegeae L.). At the same time to utilize the best soil texture, aro very common in acid soils of San Martín. The experiment was carried out in a sandy loam ultisol soil, pH.4.4. The Peanut variety used was "Blanco Tanpoto", sowed at 0.6 m x 0..2 m. betweeo rows and plants. The statiscal desiog was BCR witb 16 treatments tnd 4 repetitions in a split split plots. The main plots belong to differont phosphorus doses (P_2 O_5 Fosbayovar), while the under plots to potassium doses (K_2 O, Potash chloride) and a the without fertilization. In all treatmonts was applied urea at 25 .Kg/ba N dose. Pbosbayovar rock was applied 15 days before sowing, spreading the material around the plots and incorporating, to 20 cm. in. the soil. After 7 days of sowing was applied the potash chloride in a spotted way. We get highest yield witz P_3 K_1 troatment (150 Kg. P_2 O_5/Ha. Plus 30 Kg K_2 O/Ha.), witb 2,481 Kg/'ha. of peanut pods. and tbe second was P_3 K_0 (150 Kg/ha P_2 O_5/ha without K_2 O) witbtnd O Kg/ha of peanut pods.
