Adolescence is a biopsychosocial stage in human development. From the biological point of view the beginning of puberty is earlier now than a hundred years ago as evidenced by the increasingly precocious appearance of menarche and sperm. Today's teenagers reach their stage of sexual development, ovulation and reproductive capacity much earlier than those of yore. In many parts of the world, in both developed and developing countries, young people generally start their sex life before marriage, often without knowing that although they can be parents, they are not psychological, social or Economically prepared to be. This behavior of young people can have both short-term and long-term consequences. Unprotected sex forms the basis of problems associated with unwanted or early pregnancy and childbirth, as well as induced abortions and sexually transmitted diseases, including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection To acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Thus, as socioeconomic development progresses, adolescence as a stage in life is becoming increasingly important throughout the world. "Modern" adolescents differ from adults, and therefore the guidance they should receive on family planning is different. Like adults, the adolescent is physically able to practice sex and have children. However unlike adults, they lack experience, extensive knowledge and often, display a different behavior.
