The present work of investigation had for purpose, to define the: "Effect of the cost and the resistance in the design of the concrete of F'c=210 kg/cm2 with the introduction of fiber glass in the city of Tarapoto". Likewise, this research is designed to determine the effect that the incorporation of glass fibers to the Normal Concrete F'c=210kg/cm2 has at 7, 14 and 28 days respectively, in the production cost and in the resistance to compression. The dependent variables studied are the cost and the resistance to compression in the production of concrete, and as an independent variable the fiberglass incorporated in 0.025%, 0.075% and 0.125% regarding the weight of the materials. The results indicate that by incorporating fiberglass in 0.025%, 0.075% and 0.125% in normal concrete F'c 210 kg/cm2 the resistance to compression increases by 6.65%, 2.31% and 1.26% respectively, and the cost of production decreases by 3.29% with 0.025% fiberglass.
