The objective of the above mentioned study is to create the pavement plan for the main road arteries belonging to San Pedro de Cumbaza. Rigid pavement has been selected as the type of pavement for the research, and the objective is to achieve optimum performance over time for the structure. The main purpose in which this analysis is developed is to present a project that improves the vehicular flow within the area. The total surface of the project covers 10,552.63 m2 of rigid pavement, which is proposed as an effective solution to meet the current needs of the community. The pavement design process begins with a detailed topographic study, including altimetry and other essential aspects necessary for the design. Subsequently, a study of the soil properties is carried out, classifying the soil according to the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS) and considering the stratigraphic profile of the soil to be designed. In addition, the traffic study is incorporated into the analysis. After completing these studies, the pavement design includes layers such as the granular base and the wearing course. The measurement of the investigation is carried out qualitatively. The steady increase in traffic flow in the city of San Pedro is attributed to its strategic location and its growing popularity as a tourist and commercial destination. Each year, there is an increase in the migration of residents from nearby provinces to San Pedro, driven by the search for better living conditions. This phenomenon contributes to the city's continued growth and development, posing significant challenges in the field of civil engineering.
