The following research work was carried out in the facilities of the Ahuashiyacu Fishing Station, which is located on the road to Bello Horizonte kilometer 2.3 Banda de Shilcayo, province and department of San Martin. The hypothesis and the objectives of the research have been formulated taking into account the independent variable Network of Sensors and also the dependent variable Monitoring of water quality. The aim of this research is to improve the monitoring of water quality in tilapia fish ponds in the Ahuashiyacu Fishing Station and has as specific objectives to implement a monitoring system using a network of sensors and also to evaluate the influence of the monitoring system using a sensor network in the control of water quality in tilapia fish ponds. Two hypotheses were formulated: the alternative hypothesis supports that the use of a sensor network will improve the monitoring of water quality in the tilapia fish ponds in the Ahuashiyacu Fishing Station on the other hand the null hypothesis supports that there will be no improvement with the implementation of the sensor network. The research has a quasi-experimental design, two ponds of tilapia fish were taken as sample, one pond for the experimental group and the other for the control group. The sensor network was implemented in the experimental group only, and at the end of the study a test was carried out to contrast the difference between the experimental group and the control group.
