The objective of this study was to determine if the application of the school prevention program ViDA develops resilient protection capacities in children of the first year of secondary education at Ricardo Palma Educational Institution in Pueblo Libre Village in Moyobamba district, 2015. The sample was constituted by an experimental group of 29 students and a control group of 26 students, both of the first years of secondary education between the ages of 11 to 13 years old. The research design was applied with pre-test - post test and intact groups that is located in quasi-experimental designs. The instrument used for the development of resilient protection capacities was the instructional design, with a gradual battery of 12 learning sessions. Each learning session with an active methodology, participatory three moments: sharing, observing, and acting, the use of didactic resources of support, such as visual images, arrays, dynamic, read case studies, personal testimonies, brainstorming, challenges in group and constant dialogue, which fostered the development of capabilities resilient. According to the results of the post test in the experimental group, it is observed that after the application of the prevention program “school Life”, a 48% or 14 students between boys and girls developed protection capabilities resilient with resilience highlighted in the “Dimension Base Conditions”. The 52% or 15 students developed protection capabilities resilient provided in the “Dimension View of Himself.” The 59% or 17 students between boys and girls developed protection capabilities resilient provided in the “Dimension View of the Problem” and the 7% or 2 students between boys and girls developed protection capabilities resilient featured in the “Dimension Response Resilient”. With these data and the 95% of confidence, presented sufficient evidence for the verification of the hypothesis, achieving to verify that the program of prevention “school of Life” has significantly developed the capacity of protection resilient in the boys and girls of the first year of Secondary level at Educational Institution Ricardo Palma town center Free People of the district of Moyobamba, during the year 2015, at the level of the base conditions, vision of self, vision of the problem and response, resilient.
