The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of the inoculation of Rhizobium efficient in biological nitrogen fixation on the yield parameters of Phaseolus vulgaris var. Panamito under field conditions For this purpose, 5 strains of Rhizobium were used, which were donated by the "Marino Tabusso" Microbial Ecology Laboratory, in charge of Dr. Doris Zúñiga Dávila, from the National Agrarian University La Molina. The strains were the following: CIAT 899 (Rhizobium tropici), Colombia (Rhizobium sp.), PRF81 (R. freirei), E10 (Rhizobium sp.) and Hg (Rhizobium sp.). These were distributed using a RCBD design with three blocks. Morphological (pod/plant and fresh weight), biological (chlorophyll content in plant and number of nodules) and yield (100-seed weight and yield) variables were evaluated. It was concluded that the effect of Rhizobium inoculation was efficient for biological nitrogen fixation on yield parameters of Phaseolus vulgaris var. Panamito under field conditions, revealing better results in morphological, biological and yield variables. Liquid inoculants were produced for strains CIAT 899 (Rhizobium tropici), PRF81 (Rhizobium freirei) from Brazil, strain E10 (Rhizobium sp.) from Peru-Lima, strain Colombia (Rhizobium sp) and strain Hg (Rhizobium sp. from Cuba), which were used in the methodological stage of the research. In addition, the symbiotic performance of strain E10 stood out in morphological, biological and yield parameters, followed by strains Hg, CIAT899, Colombia and PRF81, differing from the nitrogen treatment and control. This was due to the origin of the strain and its ability to adapt to the ecosystem.
