With the objective of evaluating four doses of potassium citrate in the development and production of the tomato crop (Lycopersicum esculentum) hybrid WSX 2205 F-1, under the agroecological conditions of the province of Lamas. 0,5 l.ha-1, 1 5 l.ha-1, 1,5 5 l.ha-1 and 2 5 l.ha-1 of potassium citrate - Soluble potassium oxide, considering a control treatment, were evaluated. (without citrate or K oxide) in a completely randomized experimental block design with 3 replications. The variables evaluated were: Plant height, Number of floral clusters, Number of flowers per cluster, Diameter of the fruit, Length of the fruit, Weight of fruit per plant and per treatment, Number of fruits harvested per plant and an economic analysis was carried for treatment. The conclusions were: The T3 treatment (1.5.0 L. ha-1) obtained the highest average yield with 61, 328.85 kg. ha-1; an average of fruits harvested per plant of 26.87; average fruit weight per plant of 164.16 g; average fruit diameter of 4.60 cm and an average fruit length of 7.3 cm respectively, statistically surpassing the other treatments. Doses higher than 1.5 l.ha-1 of K citrate, affected the yield in kg. ha-1, the formation of fruits per plant, weight, length and diameter of the fruit, number of bunches, number of flowers per bunch and plant height. With the application of 1.5 l.ha-1 (T3) of Potassium Citrate, the highest B / C was obtained with 1.97 and a net profit of S /. 18,084.42 nuevos soles per hectare, followed by treatments T2 (1 l.ha-1), T1 (0.5 l.ha-1) who obtained B / C values of 1.48; 1.32 with net benefits of S /. 5,974.87; S /. 3,624.84 nuevos soles respectively. The treatment T4 (2.0 l.ha-1) reported a B / C value of 0.68 with a negative net benefit of S / - 2,702.19 nuevos soles, finally the T0 (control) reported a B / C value of 0.89 N. S with a negative net benefit of S / -1,050.88.
