The present research called Design of the carrying capacity of the Quechua de Morillo native community, Shanao district, Lamas province, San Martin region, has as objective to determine the bearing capacity that allows to elaborate a zoning map of soil carrying capacity . The research methodology used was descriptive, which sought to specify and analyze the geological and geotechnical characteristics of the soil. The laboratory tests of moisture content, consistency limits (atterberg), granulometric analysis, field density, direct cutting and soil classification have been developed, taking into account the established norms in force, also these tests have allowed to determine the physical properties and mechanics of the foundation soil, as well as the type of soil and its characteristics. The soils were classified by the SUCS method, which indicates the presence of soils of fine granulometry, the soils of fine granulometry of clay type CL and SC, with a low to medium percentage of humidity and the AASHTO method, which indicates the presence of fine material, soils of fine granulometry are of the Limo-clayey type (more than 35% by the ASTM # 200 sieve); two well-marked geotechnical zones have been determined, designated Zone I and Zone II, which are delimited in Zone I by C-01, C-02, C-05, C-06, C-08, C-09, C- 12, C-16, C-17, C-18 and in Zone II by C-03, C-04, C-07, C-10, C-11, C-13, C-14, C- 15, the allowable capacity in Zone I with a foundation depth of 3.00 meters and a foundation width of 1.00 meters is between 0.70 and 0.80 Kg / cm2 with an average admissible capacity of 0.75 kg / cm2 or 7.50 tn / m2 , the admissible capacity in Zone II with a foundation depth of 3.00 meters and a foundation width of 1.00 meters is between 0.80 and 0.90 Kg / cm2 with an average admissible capacity of 0.85 kg / cm2 or 8.50 tn / m2.
