Information System for Document Management of the Systems and Computer Engineering Faculty of the UNSM As the technological era advances in the development of solutions to automate processes and perform manual tasks in office activities, the idea of information systems has emerged as an alternative to manage the flow of information in an organization. Therefore, the research implemented an information system for document management, in which the flow of documents can be managed. In this sense, the objective was to determine the influence of the information system on the document management of the Faculty of Systems and Computer Engineering Faculty of the UNSM, 2021. An applicative, descriptive study with a pre-experimental design was therefore carried out. The population consisted of 20 individuals; being this a limited number, the population was considered as the sample, applying questionnaires to this group in two different measures of time. Data processing was carried out in the SPSS statistical program, in which the normality test of the data was developed, showing results of non-normal distribution; consequently, the Wilcoxon test was applied. Among the main results, it is highlighted that the value of the asymptotic sig. evaluated between the two samples, reveals a p-value of 0.000 lower than the p-value 0.05, reaffirming that there is a significant difference. Therefore, it is concluded that the use of an information system significantly influences the document management of the Faculty of Systems and Computer Engineering Faculty. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the information system obtained an 85% acceptance rate.
