The Clinical and Epidemiological Study of Nephritic Syndrome caused by Acute Posttestreptococcal Glomerulonephritis in 4-to-12 years old Pediatric Patients, treated in the MINSA Hospital II-2 Tarapoto in the January-December 2018 Period, aimed at knowing the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of the patients Pediatric patients with nephritic syndrome caused by acute posttestreptococcal glomerulonephritis, treated at the Minsa Hospital II-2 Tarapoto in the period January-December 2018. The type of research was non-experimental, descriptive quantitative cross-sectional. The population and sample was non-random and consisted of 16 pediatric patients. The technique selected for this investigation was the survey and the questionnaire was used as an instrument. Results were showed that 11 (69%) were hospitalized, while 2 (31%) were not hospitalized and controlled on an outpatient care. The main reason for consultation of pediatric patients was edema (63%), followed by Hematuria (25%) and Arterial Hypertension (12%). The epidemiological history, where 13 patients (81%) present as antecedents of Acute Pharyngitis; 2 (13%) Pyoderma and no history of infection only 1 (6%). In the analysis of the decrease in serum complement 3, it is positive in 13 patients (81%) and negative in 3 (19%) and ASLO, positive in 9 patients (56%) and negative in 7 (44%). There was a predominance of male sex in 75%, while female sex 25%; the ages ranged from 4 to 12 years, being the group of 8-9 years ranged with the highest number of patients 5 (31%) and followed by 12-13 years with 4 (25%). On the other hand, there was a decrease in cases ranged between 4-5 years and 10-11 years that had 2 patients. The Nephritic syndrome presented hematuria in 100%, Edema in 81%, Hypertension in 56%, Oliguria in 13%, Proteinuria in 81% and Azoemia in 1 (6%).
